BRETT PHILLIP LAXTON
I am a creative pastor. The fire of my creativity was sparked over two decades ago in high school when I was introduced to the process of film production. Learning to write, film, direct and edit evolved seamlessly into a passion for ministry 15 years ago when I became the student minister of a small church in Missouri. Since then, God has led me to several opportunities for ministry including 12 years as a student pastor and three years as a children’s and family pastor. Those experiences have culminated in a ministry that I love: serving as a video content creator. My past experiences have been a blessing in that not only have I learned to love and to lead people, but I have become proficient in industry-standard production software including Adobe Premier, Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition. I have written, directed, filmed and edited short films and promotional pieces both for the ministry and outside private clients. This background, from the experience gained in the ministry to the knowledge I was determined to obtain in order to minister in this new and progressive way, has provided me with the vision and desire for my future: I long to show my love of Christ and people through this unique ministry.

MISSION & VISION
Build, Create & Share
Like any creative person, I desire to create and build. I believe that God made me creative so that I can connect with other creative people. My desire is to assemble a community of creatives including videographers, graphic artists, writers, actors and photographers, I want to love them, teach them and help them to see who Christ has called them to be as a creative follower of Christ. Within that community, our focus will be on using our creativity to further the Kingdom of God.
I love a great story and I love telling great stories. Stories help people connect, empathize, relate and grow. If you have a great story, and everyone does, I want to help tell it.
